Recently, our PR team has been building up to a media event on behalf of our amazing client, Kettler. The event was to launch the new Everdure by Heston Blumenthal 4K BBQ, with Kettler being the UK distributors of Everdure BBQs.
With a brief to create as much noise as possible and engage with key national, consumer and blogger targets, we were in charge of all media relations and social media surrounding the event.
We were delighted to be joined by 25+ media attendees at The Sipping Room in Canary Wharf for some delicious food and drinks, a chance to meet Heston Blumenthal as well as the Fat Duck team, and of course the opportunity to check out the amazing new 4K BBQ.
Journalists from The Times, the Press Association, The Independent, Real Homes, Woman’s Weekly, Ideal Homes and the Mail on Sunday were all able to get to know the Kettler team and the amazing Everdure product range. We were also joined by a range of influencers including former England cricket players, rugby players as well as Great British Bake Off finalists and a range of lifestyle/home bloggers.
Throughout the day, as part of our media relations brief, we were on hand to manage all media enquiries as well as one-on-one press interviews with Heston himself.
With excellent social media engagement on the day, through our dedicated event hashtag and a number of new media opportunities secured on behalf of our client, the event was a roaring success and even the sun was shining!
