Midlands marketing agency, Gough Bailey Wright (GBW), has added a further two clients to its specialist public affairs and community engagement portfolio.
Mulberry Developments and development partners, Rioja Developments and Development Securities PLC, are the latest clients to join the independent agency.
GBW has been appointed to deliver support to both as they independently seek to secure planning permission for major retail developments in the region.
The unique and award-winning arm of the Bromsgrove-based, full-service consultancy assists developers and construction companies with public consultations, political liaison and community engagement in planning and construction.
“We’re really delighted to have won these two new accounts and look forward to providing our specialist services to both clients,” said Sue Bailey, Managing Director at Gough Bailey Wright.
“The emphasis on extensive public consultation and community engagement in the planning and construction industry is becoming increasingly important.
“It is a unique discipline and our passionate, experienced team is already busy working with these new clients as they seek to secure planning permission.”
The programmes for both include the delivery of public exhibitions, community consultation and political liaison throughout the planning process, as well as traditional PR, design and digital communications.
Gough Bailey Wright, the longest running marketing agency in the region, also delivers construction PR, working with contractors to ensure community relations are managed during construction, protecting and enhancing reputations as building works take place.
Accolades for Gough Bailey Wright’s Community Affairs and PR teams include CIPR Gold Pride Awards, Golden Hedgehog Awards and Birmingham Post Business Awards.
