Full-service marketing agency, Gough Bailey Wright (GBW) has added to its design portfolio with an exciting new client – South Staffordshire College.
The agency was appointed to develop a prospectus that would attract students and profile a wide range of courses following a competitive pitch.
An edgy, magazine style, based on in-depth research into the various types of literature consumed by teenagers, greatly impressed.
Jamie Smith, Director of Strategy & Infrastructure at South Staffordshire College, said:

“Every year more than 4,000 young people choose this college and our prospectus plays a big part in this. We’re always looking for something new and different; if it doesn’t make you go wow then it’s not worth doing. GBW really made an impact on me. The minute I saw their creative I knew I wanted it. It really suits the personality of South Staffs.”

He added: “The GBW team worked on a really tight deadline and with the minimum of fuss – we are delighted with the finished product.”

The 64-page 2015/16 prospectus, profiling a wide range of courses, was named The Book and designed with students in mind, ensuring they identified with its design and content.
Michelle Wright, GBW’s Creative Services Director, said:

“We’re so pleased with this piece of work, our creatives have excelled themselves. The Book is a perfect example of how to create literature for young people and I’m very proud of it. We work with a number of brands that target this age group and the key is identifying with them and ensuring the appropriate research is carried out before a design is developed.

South Staffordshire College is a great client win for us and gave our creative teams a perfect platform to engage and inspire in an imaginative and effective way.”

She added:

“Our creative and digital departments have grown significantly and our expanding client base is testament to the quality of our work and industry reputation.”
