We are very proud to announce that we’ve been presented with a commemorative silver tray during Drayton Manor Park’s 65th anniversary party to mark 15 years of working with the attraction to provide Marketing and PR services.
During the longstanding relationship between our full-service agency and the Staffordshire based leisure destination, the family-owned Drayton Manor park has welcomed millions of visitors, opened multiple new rides including a 4D cinema and launched Thomas Landâ„¢, the first and only Thomas & Friendsâ„¢ themed attraction in Europe. Celebrity visits, special events and fundraisers are all examples of the daily goings-on in the theme-park, making the PR and Marketing duties very diverse. Over the last fifteen years, we facilitated special visits from the countess of Wessex, who opened the hotel and more recently The Vamps.
One of our favourite moments was the 2013 Onesie World Record attempt which saw the amusement park earning its rightful place in the Guinness Book of Records. The park welcomed over 700 visitors wearing onesies, smashing the record for the most number of people wearing onesies gathered in any one place.
Sue Bailey, Managing Director comments: “We are incredibly proud of our longstanding relationship with Drayton Manor Park and to be presented with this lovely silver tray during their 65th anniversary celebrations was completely unexpected. It really shows the appreciation for my team’s dedication and creative approach over the years, and we in turn are proud to have been a part of the Drayton Manor family for the last fifteen years. Here’s to the next fifteen!”
