Gough Bailey Wright has scooped gold for “˜Public Affairs’ at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations’ (CIPR) Midlands PRide Awards 2012, for the second year running.
We were awarded Gold in the “˜Public Affairs’ category, and Silver for “˜Community Relations’, after helping Sainsbury’s engage with the local community and secure planning permission for a new store in the West Midlands following the refusal of a previous application.
The CIPR ceremony took place at the Hilton Metropole in Birmingham on Friday 2nd November, and the latest awards take pride of place alongside Gough Bailey Wright’s PRCA Golden Hedgehog award, won earlier in the year.
We are also shortlisted for a national PR award for its successes with Sainsbury’s, at another ceremony due later in November.
Sue Bailey, Managing Director of Gough Bailey Wright, said: “It is an honour to be recognised once again by the PR industry’s charted body the CIPR, and we are absolutely delighted to have picked up another two awards.
She added: “The entire Gough Bailey Wright team works tirelessly to ensure our clients realise or exceed their aspirations, and credit must go to our creative design studio for the fantastic materials they produce, the digital department creating websites and more; and to the account handlers going the extra mile on a day-to-day basis.”
