Our managing director had a once in a lifetime experience on Sunday as she took part in the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations at the River Thames Pageant.
Sue Bailey was personally invited to attend the Pageant by Sainsbury’s CEO Justin King.
Sainsbury’s is one of Gough Bailey Wright’s longest-standing clients. Gough Bailey Wright have been providing community affairs and public relations services for over fifteen years, assisting Sainsbury’s with store planning and public consultation, as well as community engagement during the construction of new supermarkets and mixed-use developments.
The Sainsbury’s boat was part of the 1,000-strong flotilla making the seven mile trip down the Thames and Ms Bailey was the only community affairs consultant selected to attend by Sainsbury’s.
She said: “I am thrilled to have been part of this special and historic occasion. Gough Bailey Wright and Sainsbury’s have enjoyed a successful relationship for many years now and it was an honour to be invited.
Being here today is a reflection of the expertise and dedication the agency provides and the success we have had in serving Sainsbury’s.”
