It’s a Happy Zoo Year for Gough Bailey Wright

We have been appointed by nationally-loved leisure attraction, Twycross Zoo, as its new full-service agency.

Following a competitive pitch, we have been selected to provide the full suite of services, including public relations, creative design and digital marketing.

With over 20 years’ experience in the leisure and tourism communications industry, we are partnering with the Leicestershire-based zoo as it continues to invest and evolve, five years into an exciting 20-year master plan.

With animal welfare at its core, Twycross Zoo is a conservation charity, as well as a national brand and home to 500 animals from over 100 different species, including some of the most endangered on the planet. It houses the largest collection of monkeys and apes in the Western World and is the only place in the UK to see Bonobos, our closest animal relative.

Sue Bailey, Managing Director, said: “We can’t wait to get started and support this amazing charity. During the pitch process, it quickly became apparent that we share Twycross Zoo’s values of passion, dedication and integrity. Our experience in the sector means we can provide our fully integrated services efficiently from the get-go and I am extremely proud to see the agency setting out on a journey with such a fantastic client team.”

Karen Clarke, Director of Operations at Twycross Zoo, comments: “Partnerships built on a joint vision and shared passion are vital to our success at Twycross Zoo and we always seek out support from businesses whose values echo our own. We are delighted to welcome Gough Bailey Wright to Team TZ and we know they will support us in our mission to lead the global zoo conservation effort and attract over one million visitors to enjoy all Twycross Zoo has to offer.”
